There's currently a lot of speculation about DC joining DTM here. DTM boss Aufrecht made it obvious that DC would be his first choice and also Mercedes want him back.
When DC was at the DTM final he said he missed racing and his adrenalin rush and the competition , so maybe we'll soon see him race again if not in 2010 then probably in 2011. |

It would fit in with his BBC commitments too, because the races very rarely clash as Norbert Haug likes to go to both |

Apparently Mercedes have scheduled a C-Class test for DC for next month.
There are 10 DTM races between May and October. No clashes with F1 races but I personally think it'd be too much travelling to attend all F1 and DTM races.
Certainly Mercedes would want DC to take his DTM job seriously and not just see it as some fun for inbetween other commitments.
Given he has already signed for the BBC I cannot see him race in DTM this year, maybe 2011, that would be great |

Meh, they signed Ralf Schumacher. They don't seem to care that much about performance tbh
Ralf was terrible in his first year and they still kept him on! |

DC attended the Mercedes GP presentation in Stuttgar yesterday. He confirmed he'd be testing a DTM C Class in mid February. However he also said that this year he'd concentrate on his work with the BBC and also as a consultant for Red Bull.
And for both sides (DC and Mercedes) a futur commitment in DTM would depend on the outcome of the test.
I don't think anyone would ever have signed Ralf for anything if he wasn't Michael's brother. It's just the name that has always opened every door for him..... |

It appears that DC was testing this week. Anyone hear how it went?

| One possible issue could be that Red Bull sponsor Audi, but he tested for Mercedes. I doubt Red Bull would be too happy if he drove full time for Mercedes. |

| That's why I think that if he joins DTM it will be in 2011, not in 2010. Apart from Red Bull sponsoring Audi, DC could not do promotional events for both RB and Mercedes. He cannot be contracted to them both. |

I still have no idea know he's going to make all his different commitments work, but I'm sooo excited |
