He's in the old car Melanie - the new one is launched on Wednesday. Wouldn't take too much notice of testing times just yet anyway - they will need time just evaluating it and carrying out various tests that are not necessarily speed related.

Don't panic just yet. Laughing

I wouldn't read too much into today's times from the Red Bull, its evaluation day and alot to test so this isn't a true reflection on speed as DC has said in his interviews today.

Confused Hope this is just a teething issue

Problems already for Coulthard's RB4

David Coulthard will be hoping his grands prix this year do not end the way of the first outing for the team's new car.

On the final day of a three-day test session at Jerez yesterday, Red Bull unveiled their new challenger for the forthcoming season, the RB4.

After a couple of successful shakedown laps in the morning rain, Coulthard went on to complete 54 over the course of the day as the weather improved in the afternoon.

But then, five minutes from the end of the session, the car stopped on track due to an engine problem, returning to the garage on the back of flat-bed truck.

Given Red Bull's infamous reliability problems last season when Coulthard and team-mate Mark Webber retired on 10 occasions between them, it was an unfortunate way to end the day.

The team will naturally hope it was simply a teething problem as they move on to next week's test programme in Valencia.

"The key time will be what we achieve in Valencia and beyond, with the target to obviously go forward," said Coulthard.

"We were fifth in the constructors' championship last year, albeit with one position by default (with McLaren stripped of all points), but it was an improvement on previous years.

"We beat two manufacturer teams (Toyota and Honda), and that does not happen by accident, so it shows we're on the right track.

"But as the team has grown by 200 people, and with the investment from Red Bull there, now we have to deliver by way of results."

Coulthard was 12th quickest overall of the 14 drivers on track, with Webber one place higher and 0.3secs faster in last year's car.

The Australian knows reliability is the key this season for the team as he said: "It's easy for teams to produce a lemon.

"We saw a few cars last year that were awful and people had a horrible time with them.

"I just hope there are a few more of those around and we've got ours right because while you want a fast car, you want a reliable one too."

Well as long as it's the engine you cannot say RBR did anything wrong. Renault should sort this and I'm sure they will.
